Meet Kresence 

When I was a young child I battled with depression, low self-esteem, and feelings of worthlessness among other things. I often felt alone and like there was no way out.  I was broken. As I matured into adulthood, I set out on a journey to heal and repair myself.  Once on this journey, I began to not only learn to love myself, but I began to accept myself. Learning to love and accept myself, helped me to discover the importance of self-care. This journey of self-growth helped me to recover from my depression and opened my eyes to the importance of mental health. Over the past 10 years of working in the mental health field, I have developed a passion for helping and inspiring others.  My passion has lead me to work with many different people from all walks of life.  They have been gracious enough to allow me to walk alongside of them while they experience their own self-growth journey.This journey has also lead me to begin Holly Street Counseling and my "Self Care Don't Care" campaign. -Kresence

  • Masters in Counseling Psychology from Eastern University.

  • National Certified Counselor. (NCC)

  • Licensed Professional Counselor in PA and CT (LPC)

  • Member of the National Association for Professional Woman (NAPW)

Qualifications
  • Over 10 years in the mental health field.

  • I've worked with individuals from ages 2-62.

  • I believe in taking a holistic approach when treating individuals.

  • I believe that our world is a garden and we are each a flower. It is not until we dig up that flower and examine the root, that we know how healthy the flower really is. We must all dig down and find the root of what plagues us at some point in life.
